Armadillo Aerospace

If you need to both launch and land a vehicle vertically, the first name to come to mind would be Armadillo Aerospace. Based in Mesquite, TX and founded in 2000, Armadillo Aerospace has flown for both the US Air Force and NASA and has competed in every X-Prize flight competition to date.

Armadillo’s current focus is on commercial suborbital tourism with plans to expand into orbital operations. With the designs for Super Mod and Stig A, Armadillo’s two reusable test vehicles, having been submitted to NASA, Armadillo continues to raise the bar in the commercial spaceflight industry.
