Spaceship Two

The first of 5 spacecraft to be built by The Spaceship Company for Virgin Galactic, SpaceShip Two was unveiled on December 7, 2009 and christened the VSS Enterprise by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Deployed from the mother ship at 50,000 ft., White Knight Two, the Enterprise will climb past the Karman Line before cutting its engine and beginning the gentle glide back into the atmosphere, ending in a soft landing at Spaceport America, where each passenger will be awarded Civilian Astronaut wings and a spaceflight stamp inside their passports.
